On March 6, the Mexican Official Gazette of the Federation published the DECREE that amends the first paragraph of article 28 of the Mexican Constitution, in terms of tax condonation.
This amendment reads as follows:
“Article 28. In Mexico, the monopolies, monopolistic practices, tax condonations and tax exemptions are prohibited under the terms and conditions established by law. The same treatment will be given to the prohibitions as protection for the industry.”
