On December 30, 2020, the Official Gazette of the State of Chihuahua published the law that establishes the budget for Ciudad Juárez for the fiscal year of 2021. This law provides the amounts to be charged by the municipal authority in terms of the Public Lighting Tax.
Owners or possessors of either urban, semi-urban or rustic property located in Ciudad Juárez will be subject to this payment. The collection of this tax will be made bimonthly or monthly through the bill issued by the Federal Electricity Commission starting on January 2021.
